Ingolf Kaiser & Oliver McGaw join MFB

MFB is delighted to announce two new joiners.

Ingolf Kaiser has joined MFB as a partner from another London law firm, with over 25 years’ experience as a maritime lawyer.
“I am very excited to be joining MFB, with its long-established reputation for excellence in the maritime field” Ingolf commented.
Ingolf advises owners, charterers, traders and insurers on all aspects of maritime law.

Oliver McGaw joins us from HFW with 3 years PQE and has recently been on secondment at Steamship Mutual primarily doing FD&D.
Ollie’s experience includes, inter alia, charterparty disputes, bill of lading disputes, cargo damage claims and MOA disputes. He also advises on non-contentious matters.

Ingolf and Oliver’s arrivals at MFB follow in the footsteps of two other 2021 legal recruits, Nico Saunders who joined the firm from Thomas Miller Law and Clio Lambouda who was previously at BDM.

Nico specialises in dry shipping disputes and regularly gives talks on subjects as diverse as unsafe ports and contract negotiation. He speaks fluent French. Clio had a diverse legal background before qualifying in 2019. She has worked extensively in contracting and disputes as well as cases relating to collisions, groundings and salvage.

Amarinder Singh Brar has also joined us recently as a Master Mariner. Amarinder has a quarter-century of experience in the shipping industry spanning across sailing, training, legal, regulatory, commercial, and consultative work. He obtained his first command in 2008 and has extensive knowledge of our sector.

MFB extends a warm welcome to all of our new recruits.
