Nick Wilson Joins MFB

MFB is pleased to announce the arrival of Nick Wilson.

Nick Wilson qualified as a solicitor in 1991. He was practising as a partner at another specialist shipping firm before joining MFB, again as a partner, in 2018.

Nick specialises in commercial dispute resolution and handles a wide range of matters from casualties, including groundings, container losses overboard, fire and explosions, girtings, cable damage, and allisions. His practice involves unsafe port cases and disputes concerning charterparties, including repudiatory breach, oil major approval issues, bill of lading disputes and defending P&I claims generally.

Nick is referred to as “a great tactician” in The Legal 500 rankings for 2017. He assists clients in resolving matters in arbitration, the High Court and Court of Appeal, including by way of mediation. His reported decisions, in all of which he acted for the successful party, are as follows: -
