Stephen Mann joins MFB

MFB is pleased to announce the arrival of Stephen Mann. Stephen is a solicitor (England and Wales) and an advocate (Isle of Man) with 21 years' experience of contentious and non-contentious shipping matters. He has a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and became a solicitor in 1995.
Stephen has handled large litigation matters in the courts and in arbitration, both in England and in the Isle of Man.
Stephen was formerly a partner in a Newcastle-upon-Tyne shipping practice and a senior lawyer with one of the Isle of Man’s top commercial and litigation practices. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of charterparty, cargo carriage and commodity sale disputes, ship sales, registration and finance and also in general commercial matters (including insolvency). As a qualified advocate in the Isle of Man, Stephen is also able to provide advices (including formal opinion letters) on any matters involving Manx companies or Manx-registered vessels (commercial or superyachts). He speaks Spanish, Italian and French.
