The third annual Marine Insurance Americas conference is happening next week, from the 3rd of May, and MFB will be there in New York.
Matthew Montgomery and Kirsten Jackson will be flying the flag for MFB while partner Kevin Cooper will be facilitating the panel discussion on cargo loss at sea entitled Fire in the Hold!
From the agenda: "Fires on board container ships continue to dog the sector, despite industry efforts. But is it not just fires that are concerning insurers; containers are falling overboard in increasing numbers as fully laden vessels take to winter seas. We analyze the latest cargo loss statistics, and ask if there is anything insurers can do to reduce their costs?"
